Thank you for allowing us to offer quilted hugs to your care leavers.
The Process

The quilted hugs are found on a portal, a bit like an online shop. The portal uses codes, which will be valid for a limited time, for quilts to be chosen. The address is: portal.q4clni.org.uk
Using the Codes
You will receive the codes via email, which will tell you the date the codes expire. The codes are single-use and will remove the price of the quilted hug at checkout. Orders cannot be processed without a valid code.
You can order multiple hugs on one order form but need to have a code for each hug. Keep note of which code is connected to which care leaver and quilted hug.
Choosing a Hug
It is very important to us and to our quilt makers that the care leaver is able to choose their hug. However, as the portal will be live in all sections of your organisation, we suggest they have a couple of choices in case the one they want has been picked by someone else by the time the order has been made.
Important Notes
- The email section at checkout is not tied to one address, but please only use your Trust/business emails – no care leaver information to be put on the site.
- At the end of the time given, or when you email us that all quilted hugs have been chosen, we will contact you to arrange delivery.
- When delivery is being arranged, it would be helpful to meet with someone who has been involved with this process so we can get feedback on how the process has worked or what we could do to improve it.
- If you find that when you deliver the chosen quilted hug the care leaver has changed their mind, please get in touch with us so a collection can be arranged and the hug can be placed on the portal again.
